Shareholders: commitment to football culture required

The objective of preserving traditional football culture at Union Berlin is closely associated with the issue of who owns the ground. By issuing ‘Alte Försterei Shares’, this question is being addressed in a unique way. By placing the shares into diverse ownership, the Stadium An der Alten Försterei will belong to the people who love and live the club’s football culture. In order to ensure that the future stadium owners are conscious of their responsibility for this tradition-steeped venue and the archetypal Union fan culture, the right to acquire shares is being given exclusively to Union Berlin members and business partners.

Until the period for subscribing for shares begins on 1st December 2011, you have the opportunity to commit yourself to this responsibility and to become a Union Berlin member or to sign a sponsorship contract. In this way you will be securing your personal right to acquire up to ten ‘Alte Försterei Shares’, which you can subscribe for up until the end of the subscription period on 31st December 2011.
